Seven days through the Morocco most desert tours never show you. Privately, you cross the Middle Atlas cedar forests to Fes — a thousand years of living craft — where you paint your own Fes-blue ceramic. You walk Roman Volubilis, then climb into the Rif to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city, and weave your own wool piece with the women who still make them. From there, the coasts: the Kasbah and sea-capes of Tangier, whitewashed Asilah, the calm capital of Rabat, and the immense Hassan II Mosque on the Casablanca shore. Two workshops, the great cities, two seas — the cultured heart of Morocco, unhurried.
