A stone-built mountain lodge at 1,740m in the High Atlas — the gateway village for trekking Jbel Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak. This is Moroccan mountain hospitality at its best: simple, warm, and deeply authentic. Rooms are furnished with handwoven Berber blankets and local crafts. The communal dining room serves home-cooked Berber meals using produce from the valley below. The surrounding village of Imlil is a living museum of traditional High Atlas life — no tourist souvenir shops, just daily mountain life.

“The hot air balloon was the highlight of our entire Morocco trip — and honestly, one of the best experiences of our lives. Rachid was responsive on WhatsApp from day one, the sunrise views were absolutely breathtaking, and the Berber breakfast afterwards was a perfect ending. 100% book this.”

“Booked the Atlas Mountains tour on a whim our last day in Marrakech. Best decision we made. The Berber village was completely off the tourist trail, the family who hosted us for tea were so warm, and the mountain views were stunning. Saharasis made it seamless.”
